Mother Gaia Callously Murders Environmentalist Leader

In no way am I taking glee in the death of an environmentalist.

But you have to admit that there’s an odd irony in someone giving her life to “save” Mother Earth from the deleterious affects of despicable human beings, and having Mother Earth shamelessly and brutally drown her while she was vacationing in Mexico.

Environmentalism must pay well:

The executive director of San Francisco-based environmental group Rainforest Action Network has died in a swimming accident at a beach near Mexico’s Pacific coast resort of Puerto Vallarta, police said Friday.

Rebecca Tarbotton, 39, was swimming Wednesday at a beach about a half hour north of Puerto Vallarta when she was caught by a wave and tossed around, said Adan Leyva, spokesman for Puerto Vallarta municipal police.

Leyva said that paramedics tried to revive her after she was brought ashore, but she was dead by the time she reached the hospital.

from the Daily Mail [emphasis added]

Isn’t anyone going to make the obvious connection that Global Warming is to blame? Or maybe we should ban swimming. I’m sure they’d say, “but swimming doesn’t kill people, uhm… accidents.. kill people.”

Even though Tarbotton, a native of Canada, bore no little carbon-footprints [or as the rest of us call them, children], she can be proud of the legacy she left the Earth Mother who snuffed out her life:

Rainforest Action Network works with major corporations on environmental projects, and Tarbotton recently brokered an agreement with the Walt Disney Company that changed the way the entertainment giant uses paper, RAN said.

Awesome. I hope that’s scrawled on her environmentally safe biodegradable gravestone.

We all pray that Mexican authorities are able to capture Mother Gaia for this cruel murder and put her away for a long, long time.
