Pakistani Prime Minister Spokesman Calls on Al Qaeda and the Taliban to MURDER American Citizen for $100k
This is just incredible.
The government of Pakistan has condemned a minister for his offer of a reward for the death of the US-based producer believed to be behind an anti-Islam video.
“I announce today that this blasphemer who has abused the holy prophet, if somebody will kill him, I will give that person a prize of $100,000,”
Bilour’s announcement came after more than 5,000 protesters, including hundreds of women, marched towards the parliament in Islamabad, chanting: “We love our Holy Prophet” and “Punishment for those who humiliated our Prophet.”
“I invite the Taliban brothers and the al Qaeda brothers to join me in this blessed mission.”
So the political representative of our “ally” Pakistan is putting a bounty, offering to pay for a crime being committed on American soil, for an American to be murdered.
How can anyone pretend that Obama has improved our standing in the world when government officials are calling for the murder of our citizens for simply expressing their first amendment right to free speech?
And will Obama and his administration respond? Will they demand that this incredible insult to our values be rejected by our ally? Or will be keep apologizing?
This is simply disgusting.
And this is reported on the same day that congress has voted to continue foreign aid to Pakistan, Egypt and Libya in the amount of $4 BILLION.
The lone voice of reason crying out in the wilderness was that of Rand Paul who called for all of this foreign aid to be cut, and not to be reinstated until at least Dr. Afridi is released from Pakistani imprisonment. Who is Dr. Afridi? Only a Pakistani Doctor who helped us catch and kill Osama Bin Laden:
In the weeks leading up to that attack on the compound by SEAL Team 6, there was a doctor in Pakistan who helped us determine Osama bin Laden’s exact location. Dr. Afridi risked his own life to provide the American military with intelligence that confirmed the particular location of the bin Laden compound. The information provided by Dr. Afridi directly led to bin Laden’s death.
Dr. Afridi remains under arrest and has been subject to torture. If Pakistan wants to be our ally — and receive foreign aid — then they should act like it, and they must start by releasing Dr. Afridi.
Unfortunately, Senator’s Paul’s voice was ignored, and the foreign aid passed the Senate.
So we’re giving American’s tax money to a country that is calling for Al Qaeda to murder an American citizen – that same country which had Osama Bin Laden living for years within it’s shadow. And we’re giving taxpayer money to another country which could not protect our ambassador from extremists who planned an attack on our embassy.
