Claire McCaskill on Her Qualifications – She’s Eaten Countless Ham Breakfasts

I’m not sure if this says more about Claire McCaskill or about what she thinks of Missourians, but it’s kinda funny.

“You know you have Todd Akin who’s never represented a rural area… uhm, and uh, he’s never, I think he said this morning that this was his second ham breakfast. Uhm, boy oh boy, I can’t count how many ham breakfasts I been to, uhm…”

I’m sure I just don’t understand how ham breakfasts are essential to Missourians.

Missouri state bird: hamhock.
Missouri football team: Go hamchops!
Missouri state motto: “You want ham with that ham?”
Missouri flag: Something ham-based.
