The second day in the 99-Moron March from Philadelphia to Wall Street.

Our peek into an occupier’s diary:

THE SECOND DAY – JULY 6TH, 2012

Our all-encompassing quest for social equality continues. I never thought it would be this hard. I don’t even know who Woody Guthrie is, dammit. I thought this was going to be fun, like the “visioning process” where we got to play with yarn!!

9:00 AM: We’re starting to get desperate. I woke up this morning and my visioning cadre leader was gnawing on my ankle. I can still see the teethmarks. Why won’t anyone send food?!

All these cars driving past… I don’t think they realize that we’re destroying Capitalism and re-inventing Democracy. Why aren’t they stopping and.. giving us water, or food or a ride or something??!?

10:00 AM: Who the hell put New York City so damn far away from Philadelphia?! This is a major city planning failure that I must bring up in my “Inner-city Urban Social Justice” class.

11:00 AM: We plopped down for lunch around this tree:

2pm – I overhead the livestreamer say, “We’re supposed to make it to NYC by the eleventh… we need to stop, like.. stopping all the time..” Yeah. Sure. Easy for you to say. You’re not.. well. He IS walking with us, but that’s not the point.

2:30PM – We finish eating lunch and on our way. The damn livestreamer guy keeps demanding we move. He’s such a jerk.

2:21pm – We tried to convince the 1%er capitalist pig owner of a pizza joint to donate pizzas to us for protecting his freedom of speech. He tried to argue with us, but we shouted him down and went on our way. What a loser!

The jokes on him though – “Dysentery” Danny left a “gift* for him in his parking lot! That was before he collapsed.

7:30PM – We finally arrive at the farm… I think we’ve lost 3 occupiers on the way. It’s sad to see their tattooed bloated corpses laying on the road while we march on, but… someone has to defeat capitalism.
