This is a great clip from the Tim Conway Jr. Show on KFI, a talk radio station in Los Angeles. He took calls about teacher unions, and this woman called in to defend teachers. With every word she uttered she betrayed the contempt with which they hold the rest of us, non-educators, and how entitled they are to every benefit they could possibly demand. It’s about seven minutes, and worth listening to…

    I think we would save money if the gooberment (yes that is how I spell it) would allow one parent to stay home and educate the kids giving that money that went to the school for education, activities, salaries and busing for the education of the child.

    My kids are getting a great education and I spend all of $2832.00 doing the job last year.
    The year before I did it with even less. $1200.00
    The year before that $865.00

    That of course does not include my time. But hey I am a stay at home mom thanks to my hubby and we live off of less then $1800.00 a month.

    If I can do such a good job on so little. Why can’t the schools do more for our kids?

    Tim Conway, Jr. was born and
    raised in Los Angeles…and survived 10 years in a youth detention
    center called the Los Angeles Unified School District. He spent his
    childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar Racetracks with
    his father, four younger brothers and older sister. His father is yes,
    the real Rodney Dangerfield from the real Jimmy Durante Presents the
    Lennon Sisters TV variety show. Conway survived 12 years at WFBQ in
    Indianapolis, Indiana until it switched to an all-music format. The show
    was famous for providing folks with a wide variety of entertaining
    topics including live police chases, and local stuff like that. “What
    The Hell Did Keith Richards Say?” was a favourite segment and maintains a
    substantial cult following to this day (it’s the stuff radio legends
    are made of). He now hosts a nightly show on the No. 2 news/talk radio
    station in the country, KFI AM 640, More Stimulating Talk Radio. You can
    catch the show Monday-Friday from 7-10pm. Conway’s down-to-earth take
    on life brings a sense of refreshing levity to those surrounded by
    lunatics and pranksters in Hollyweird. Today, the Conway tradition
    continues. When he’s not on the air, you can find him at Hustler
    Hollywood or at the racetrack with his adopted daughter, Sophia; “I got a
    tear in my eye the first time she asked who her real daddy was, just
    like Lady Gaga I was speechless!” Tim also turned his “wife” onto
    horses, and other unmentionables. She’s currently banned from two local
    tracks for verbal attacks on jockeys. Geez, how déclassé.
